Duties involve oversight of all aspects of teacher licensure programs for the entire university including: develop and manage the teacher licensure budget; coordinate state approval requirements for the teacher licensure program; supervise the teacher licensure office assistant; chair the Teacher Education Executive Committee; primary university liaison with the Ohio Department of Education; attend state meetings and conferences related to teacher licensure; administer the Ritvo Teaching Award; verify Case students are eligible for their initial Ohio teaching license and complete required paperwork; correspond with state officials, teacher licensure faculty, teacher licensure students, and other pertinent individuals regarding all aspects of the teacher licensure programs; manage the teacher licensure web site.
